Using Plannie with Siri

Updated 26 July 2026

Die Hilfeartikel gibt es bisher nur auf Englisch.

Got your hands full? If Plannie is installed on your iPhone or iPad and you're signed in, Siri can do the quick adds for you — no setup or account linking needed. Say the phrases below (always including "in Plannie"); Siri asks a follow-up when it needs more, and reads back a confirmation when it's done. Everything appears in the app instantly, attributed to Siri in the Activity log. The phrases work in English and Swedish.

What you can say

  • Add a chore — "Add a chore in Plannie" or "New chore in Plannie". Siri asks for the chore and who it's for, then adds it to that member's column on the Habits board as a one-time, Morning habit. Mention how often — "every day", "on weekdays", or "every week" — to make it repeat.
  • Add to a list — "Add to a list in Plannie" or "Add an item to a list in Plannie". Say the item, then pick which list it goes on.
  • Create a list — "Make a new list in Plannie" or "Create a list in Plannie".
  • Add an event — "Add an event in Plannie" — "meeting" and "appointment" work too, as does "Schedule an event in Plannie". Siri shows the details to confirm before adding it to the Calendar.
  • Move an event — "Move [event] in Plannie" or "Reschedule [event] in Plannie", naming one of your upcoming events. Give the new time and confirm — the event keeps its length. Repeating events can't be moved by voice; Siri will ask you to open Plannie instead.
  • Hear today's schedule — "What's on the family calendar in Plannie" or "What's happening today in Plannie".
  • Complete a chore — "Complete [chore] in Plannie" or "Mark [chore] done in Plannie".

Good to know

  • Siri matches these set phrases for now — freer phrasing ("remind my son to walk the dog") won't reach Plannie yet.
  • The same shortcuts appear in the Shortcuts app and Spotlight, and can be assigned to the Action Button.
  • Adding or moving an event asks you to confirm first; chores and list items are added straight away.
  • If your device is locked, Siri will ask you to unlock it first.

Siri shortcuts are for quick, single actions. For anything more involved — "plan tacos on Friday and put the ingredients on the groceries list" — open Plannie Assistant in the app.
