Plannie Terms of Service
Version 1.3 — 2026-08-08
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Plannie is provided by Ytterberg Holding AB, org. no. 559515-1845, Valhallavägen 46, 114 22 Stockholm, Sweden ("Plannie", "we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
These terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of the Plannie app and the services connected to it. By creating an account or using Plannie you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use Plannie.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. It is not part of these terms but you should read it too.
2. The service
Plannie is a family hub: a shared calendar, lists, tasks and chores, meal planning, rewards, a family email inbox, and an AI assistant ("Plannie Assistant"), delivered as a mobile/tablet/web app connected to our cloud service. You don't receive a copy of the software to run yourself — you use Plannie online through the app for as long as you have an account.
We work to keep Plannie available and secure, but like any online service it can be interrupted — for maintenance, updates, or events outside our control. We will schedule planned maintenance to minimise disruption where we can.
3. Accounts and your household
Accounts are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Plannie account. Your family's data belongs to a household that you create or join.
Profiles are not accounts. Account holders can create profiles for other members of the household so their schedules, chores and rewards appear in Plannie. Profiles have no login and no direct access to the service. The account holder who creates and manages a profile is responsible for its use and for the information added to it.
Roles and invitations. Households have one owner. Adults can invite other people by email to join the household with their own account. Only invite people you actually want to see and edit your family's information — everyone in the household can see shared household content.
Keep your login safe. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secret and for activity that happens through your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Tell us about problems. If you become aware that someone in your household has used Plannie in breach of these terms, please put it right and let us know. Also tell us promptly if you discover an intrusion or attempted intrusion that could affect the service or your account, or if you become aware of a claim that may be made against you or us because of your household's use of Plannie.
4. Pricing
Details of which features are available in each plan, including free and paid options, are set out in our pricing plan as shown in the app, on our website, and at the point of purchase. The pricing plan may change from time to time; the version shown when you buy applies to your purchase. If we remove or materially degrade a feature you are paying for (other than improvements or changes to your advantage), we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice. Please see section 7 for exceptions regarding AI models and section 9 for information on third-party integrations.
5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Where you pay. Plannie is purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our web billing. Web purchases are sold and billed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com, whose Buyer Terms apply to the checkout. Your price, billing period and renewal date are always shown before you buy.
Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You cancel through the store where you bought the subscription (App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or your web billing account). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
If a payment fails. If a renewal charge cannot be completed — for example because your card has expired or is declined — the store or our payment provider will retry the payment and you may be asked to update your payment details. If payment still cannot be collected within a reasonable time, we may cancel the subscription, and your household moves to the free plan as described in section 10. You remain responsible for paying for any period during which you had paid access.
Refunds. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. Refunds for web billing purchases are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.
Your right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. For web purchases, you can request a refund within 14 days of any charge and receive it in full, as described in our Refund Policy — this covers the statutory right and more. For App Store and Google Play purchases, exercise this right through Apple or Google under their policies.
Promo codes and referrals. Promotional codes and referral rewards are subject to the conditions stated when they are offered (such as expiry dates and redemption limits) and have no cash value.
6. Your content
Everything your household puts into Plannie — events, lists, tasks, meals, photos, emails to your Family Inbox — is yours. You are responsible for having the right to add the content you add, and for it being lawful.
You give us only the limited licence we need to run Plannie for you: to store, process, display and transmit your content in order to provide, secure and support the service, and to develop it using information in de-identified, aggregated form that no longer relates to you or your family. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it.
When your content is deleted from Plannie (by you, or when your account or household is deleted), this licence ends, except for copies we must keep to comply with law.
7. AI features
Plannie Assistant and other AI features (such as content import and automatic processing of Family Inbox email) generate suggestions automatically. AI output can be wrong. Check dates, times and other details before you rely on them — Plannie is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of AI output.
The AI landscape changes quickly, and we choose which underlying AI models power Plannie. We may switch models at any time without notice, including between providers and between models of different size or capability. A change of AI model is not a feature change that requires advance notice under section 4.
AI features are subject to a monthly fair-use allowance per household. If your household exceeds it, we may temporarily serve AI features with another model until the allowance resets.
8. Acceptable use
When using Plannie you must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or add content that infringes others' rights or is illegal;
- misuse your Family Inbox address — for example to send or relay spam, or to register it for services unrelated to your family's use of Plannie;
- upload malware or other harmful code, or attempt to probe, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other households' data;
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the service, except where law expressly permits it;
- resell the service or provide it to third parties as your own offering.
If we reasonably believe your use puts the service, us, or others at risk, we may limit or suspend access while the issue is resolved. We will be proportionate, and we will inform you as soon as we reasonably can.
9. Third-party services and your own equipment
You can choose to connect Plannie to services from other companies — for example this may include calendar services such as Google Calendar and Outlook, ICS feeds and voice assistants. Connecting these services is voluntary, their own terms and privacy policies apply to their side of the connection, and you can disconnect them at any time in Plannie's settings.
Third-party services can change. We don't control third-party services. They can change, interrupt or withdraw their interfaces at any time, and an integration can stop working — temporarily or permanently — for reasons on their side. We are not responsible for third-party services themselves or for disruptions caused by changes made by third-party services.
Your own devices and connection. Plannie is a cloud service. You are responsible, at your own cost, for obtaining and keeping up to date the equipment and software needed to use Plannie — such as a phone, tablet or computer, its operating system and an internet connection. We are not responsible for faults or disruptions in Plannie caused by your equipment, software or connection, and we may over time stop supporting older devices or operating system versions.
10. Termination, account and data deletion
You can leave at any time. You can delete your account directly in the app. Deleting your account immediately and irreversibly deletes the entire household and all its data — for everyone in it — from our active systems; residual copies in backups are removed within 30 days. We keep limited customer records (such as your name, email and subscription history) where we need them to handle disputes and refunds, prevent fraud and abuse, and run our business — see our Privacy Policy for further details. A subscription billed through our web billing is cancelled automatically as part of the deletion. A subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play cannot be cancelled by us: you must cancel it within the App Store or Google Play settings first, and until you do we cannot complete the deletion.
When a paid subscription ends, your household continues on the free plan. Data belonging to paid features is kept but put on hold for 30 days, and we remind you by email before the period runs out; if you resubscribe during this time, everything is restored. After the 30 days, your household's family email address is released (and may become available to other users) and email stored in the Family Inbox is deleted. The rest of your household's data — including your calendar and lists — stays, and data belonging to paid features becomes available again if you later resubscribe. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
We can terminate too, but not arbitrarily. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms and don't remedy the breach within reasonable time after we've notified you, or where we must do so by law. If we discontinue Plannie entirely, we will give you 60 days to export your data.
11. Liability
We are not liable for damages or losses caused by your breach of these terms, by content you or your household members add, or by third-party services you connect.
To the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection law, and except in cases of intent or gross negligence: our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses. In order not to lose the right to make a claim for damages, a party must notify the other party of their intention to do so no later than ninety (90) calendar days after the damaged party became aware, or should reasonably have become aware, of the loss or damage.
12. Force majeure
Neither you nor we are responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond the affected party's reasonable control — for example, fire, flood, lightning, power or network outages, war, strikes, actions of authorities, or failures of subcontractors due to such events. Affected obligations are postponed for as long as the circumstance lasts. If it substantially prevents performance for more than three (3) months, either party may terminate the agreement in writing with immediate effect.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and the pricing plan, for example when we add features or when the law changes. For material changes we will notify you by email, in the app or via our website. If you don't accept a change, you can cancel your subscription and stop using Plannie; continuing to use Plannie after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The current version is always available where these terms are published.
We are entitled to assign this agreement, including its rights and obligations, to an affiliated company that takes over the operation of the service.
14. Miscellaneous
Transferring the agreement. Your account and this agreement are personal — you may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under it to someone else without our written consent.
Subcontractors. We may use subcontractors to provide all or part of the service. We remain responsible for their work as if we had performed it ourselves.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the pricing plan and any conditions shown to you at the point of purchase, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations, and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including any dispute or claim relating to non-contractual obligations) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law, without regard to conflict-of-law or choice-of-law rules.
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by Swedish courts, with the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
